One of Catania’s oldest and liveliest markets, sprawling across Piazza Carlo Alberto and the surrounding streets since the 1830s. Known as “Fera ‘o Luni,” it’s a huge daily morning market (except Sundays) selling everything from fruit, cheese and street food to clothes, bags, housewares and bric-a-brac. Chaotic, colourful and thoroughly local — come early, browse hard and haggle a little.
