The Church of St Elizabeth, universally known as the Blue Church, is one of Bratislava’s most enchanting sights, an Art Nouveau gem completed in 1913. Its facade, tower and even its interior are washed in pale, dreamy shades of blue, decorated with wavy lines, mosaics and delicate detailing that make it look like something from a fairy tale. A short walk from the Old Town, this small but exquisite church is a favourite for photographs and a highlight of any visit to the city.
