Jazz Club Firenze was a live music venue in a basement at Via Nuova de' Caccini 3, near Piazza d'Azeglio in Florence, trading from 1979. Under the management of Davide Pispicia, who took it on in 2012, it built its programme on Wednesday jazz and Thursday blues jam sessions, with resident musicians opening the floor to other players, alongside weekend live sets and Sunday stand-up comedy, generally from around 10pm, Tuesday to Sunday. On 1 February 2026 the city's Interforce inspection unit sealed the premises after finding breaches including undeclared staff, occupancy at roughly double the licensed capacity, dancing beyond the terms of its live music licence and hygiene failings. The owner announced the closure the same day, citing the difficulty of meeting current regulatory requirements in a building of that age. No reopening date or replacement premises had been confirmed as of August 2026, and reports that the club moved to Piazza del Tiratoio could not be substantiated.
