Depoo is Tallinn's laid-back answer to the food hall: an open-air street-food yard in the creative Kalamaja district, where kitchens set up shop inside repurposed shipping containers, old railway wagons and a former train-maintenance depot. It started in 2016 as a temporary market during the Balti Jaam renovation and quickly became a neighbourhood favourite.
Come hungry and graze – you'll find everything from proper fish and chips to spicy Vietnamese and fresh pastries, all a short stroll from the Old Town. It's relaxed, affordable and just as popular with locals as with visitors.
Local tip: It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the Old City; pair it with a wander round the Telliskivi Creative City next door.
