Klub SPATiF stands at Aleje Ujazdowskie 45, on the broad avenue of embassies and villas running south from central Warsaw. Its name comes from the Polish association of theatre and film artists, whose members made the original members’ club a fixture of the city’s cultural life during the communist decades. The current club is open to the public and keeps a full weekly programme: midweek jazz concerts followed by a jam session, live bands, DJ nights covering soul, indie and Britpop, and English-language stand-up. A bistro operates alongside the bar. Concerts are ticketed, generally through Polish ticketing platforms, while the bar itself trades from early afternoon until late.
