A downtown hotel on South Orange Avenue, next to Orlando City Hall and a few minutes on foot from Lake Eola. It trades under Marriott's Autograph Collection but is operated by the Kessler group, whose founder assembled the several hundred works of art hung through the public areas and corridors, a mix of European and American pieces that gives the interiors a deliberately dark, layered character unlike most Florida hotels. The lobby bar holds a rare Imperial Grand Bosendorfer piano and there is live music on many evenings. Facilities include a rooftop pool, a spa and a restaurant. Its practical advantage is position: the downtown arena, Church Street, the Dr Phillips Center and the SunRail and Lynx interchanges are all walkable, and the theme parks are roughly half an hour away by road.
