Gatorland occupies 110 acres on South Orange Blossom Trail, between Orlando and Kissimmee, and has operated since 1949. Admission covers the alligator breeding marsh, viewed from a boardwalk and observation tower, together with enclosures holding crocodiles from several continents and a group of leucistic white alligators. Scheduled shows run through the day, among them the Gator Jumparoo, in which animals leap for food, and Legends of the Swamp. A free-flight aviary and a small petting zoo are included, as is the wading bird rookery that forms above the marsh in spring. The zip line, off-road buggy and other adventure attractions carry separate charges. Tickets remain valid for a year from purchase and the site is wheelchair accessible throughout.
