Grécka Taverna brings a slice of the Greek islands to Bratislava — a cheerful, taverna-style spot for gyros, souvlaki, grilled fish, feta and olives, washed down with a frappé, an ouzo or a crisp Greek white. The room is done up in cosy, sun-warmed taverna style, the sort of place built for lingering over a long, generous lunch.
The menu runs through the Greek-holiday classics — pita and tzatziki, Greek salad, seafood and an ouzo bar — done simply and authentically. After a spell at its original Košická address, the taverna is these days found at the Nivy centre in the heart of the city.
